Q&A for BLINK S and S2:
1. What’s the max speed for BLINK S and S2?
The top speed for BLINK S is 15MPH and for BLINK S2 is 18MPH. Both BLINK S and S2 are capable of going even faster, but we limited the max speed for safety considerations. We build the BLINK S and S2 for a joyful and safe journey. Riding over 20 miles an hour on city streets can be dangerous.
2. Can I turn of the lights on BLINK S or S2?
Safety is our first priority. Our team went all the way to add side lights, front and tail lights as part of the signature design, so you can have high visibility at night. For this reason, the lights on the BLINK S and S2 cannot be turned off.
3. Why does the remote use AAA batteries?
The reason we use AAA batteries vs. USB charging is all about convenience. Customers can have few pairs of rechargeable batteries with them and easily replace them when the batteries are dead, so customers can keep riding their BLINK boards without interruption. Unlike the remotes with USB port, if you forget to charge your remote, you won’t be able to use the board until the remote is charged.
We are finalizing couple molds, can’t wait to share with you all once some testing and numbers are back from our suppliers.
We’ve never talked about our BLINK Lite in the blog. It’s time to show some love for our little guy:
Have a great weekend!
